Guide to writing for your military medals

The eVetRecs is an online system for processing records requests, and it is the preferred method for requesting medals and awards. Provide as much information as possible in the "comments" field.

Requests for replacement medals can be made to the National Personnel Records Center (NPRC ) of the National Archives and Records Administration. Requests should be submitted to the appropriate military branch of the NPRC. Filing a VA form SF-180 is recommended to streamline the process.
